26 people were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut on Dec. 14 shortly after 9:30 a.m. after a gunman targeted a kindergarten classroom. Among the fatalities are the principal and 20 children ages 6-7. The shooter has been identified as Adam Lanza.
